Illamasqua Toxic nature event

Hey dolls!

Hope you are all well,

I recently had the amazing chance to attend the Illamasqua blogger event in london!

We were able to view the new collection 'Toxic Nature' which was inspired by the strength and force of the earth and also the way in which we are venerable to it, (E.g the volcanic ash cloud of last year). The collection consists of pastel, neutral and muddy shades all of which are very flattering on the skin and there are many different ways to wear them (even in the hair!).

Even the pastels have an ash undertone and are slightly muted which is a fresh twist on the usual S/S colour palette.

My favourite pieces from the collection are the 'Emerge' peachy matte Cream pigment and the precision ink anti-liner pen in 'Glister' which is skin toned with subtle purple shimmers.

There were live makeup looks being created, face charts which we could create looks on and we could even have our nails done by some amazing 'Wah nails' girls! I chose to have purity on my nails (peachy nude) and am totally in love with it!

It was a really lovely event, so interesting and included many intricate details which were of course very Illamasqua esque including a smoke machine at the entrance, loved it!

I got the chance to meet some lovely bloggers and all of the people from Illamasqua were so friendly and approachable =]
