Winchester in an hour

Top - H&M
Boots - Primark
Bag - H&M

So me and the boy decided to visit Winchester because we stay in Southampton which is really close but we hadn't ever been there before.
when we reached the high street we were pleasantly surprised, its very small and quaint with cute little shops and its very characteristic.
The town has the oldest ever church (apparently!) & pub, it has alot of old buildings and roman ruins.
What caught my eye most though was the Cath Kidston shop (girls lol) It really stands out on the high street and i went and had a look inside having never been there before. The shop is the cutest thing i have seen!
Theres a Cath Kidston website if you want to check it out =]

We walked around for an hour and took a few snaps. Cute town!

Have any of you been to Winchester? Do you like it?

I Heart Fashionology

Recently I brought and received some gorgeous items from Fashionology , after spotting some pieces on Karen and Andy's fashion blogs, whom i check up on almost daily! i love fashion blogs..

I am totally obsessed with jewellery, im like a magpie! I never stop adding to my collection but its not everywhere i find one place that just has dozens of pieces which are totally my style..

so when i stumbled across Fashionology I was so excited!

Fashionology is run by a lovely woman named Rachel and is based in the Netherlands, my past orders have taken around a week to reach the UK or maybe a little bit under & i've always had great customer service.

Prices are very reasonable aswell! at first i thought it might break the bank a little because i saw them on fashion blogs but i was very pleasantly surprised!

Im not affiliated with the company i just love all the jewellery and wanted to share, if you love silver, drop necklaces, crosses and unique jewellery like moi, you might like it =]

Click for Fashionology

You will find all the pieces in the images above on the website

2 Illamasqua products from 'Art of darkness'

Hello everybody ^_^

Here are most of the contents of the goodie bag which I received at the Illamasqua event (very nice of them =])
I received the;

Intense lipgloss - Hermetic
Liquid Metal - Resolute

The lipgloss is a very intense dark colour, one im not used to! but its great for this winter. I find it quite tricky to work with on its own, it may be better to layer this on top of a lipstick. When you get it right though its great & its smells lovely.

The liquid metal has the same consistency as the others they have e.g solstice, but it just fells a tiny bit thinner when i swatched my hand. I dont know if that makes any sence? haha Its still very pigmented and blends very easily. The colour is gorgeous but im just not sure how i'll be able to wear it, may come in handy for halloween tutorials!

Have you guys had a look at the collection yet? has anything caught your eye? =]

The art of darkness - The Illamasqua Event

I was kindly invited to the Illamasqua event which took place yesterday, i was so excited! So i met up with Shirley and we made our way to the event after we quickly stopped for a frapp!
The shop is located on Beak street, if you're not familiar its at the end of Carnaby street (American Apparel end) Its a very apt location! the trendy and unique part of town ^_^

We were able to have a sneak peek at the new flagship store which was so exciting! It was amazing, sparkly, sleek, bold and bright, it ticks all the boxes! We had an introduction to the new collection named 'The art of darkness', we then watched a short film which was beautiful and mysterious, lots of visuals of the makeup collection used to full potential. The new collection is based around jewel-like colours and golds, The colours are rich, dark and intense, perfect for A/W.

We then listened to Alex Box as she introduced the collection further and we also listened about the new store and the makeup classes which will soon be available (exciting!) I was so stunned by Alex Box and it was truly amazing to meet her, I've loved her work for a long long time & shes the nicest person & so down-to-earth! (sorry i'm rambling a bit but it had to be said lol)

I also got to meet Spob for the second time, she showed me and Shirley a new nail varnish and we had a little chat! (We all loved Shirley's new rings! lol) Everyone who we met was so lovely and really went out of their way to explain everything and answer any questions as much as they could! I want to say a big thank you for that ^_^

We tried the smoking drink (which was ice cold!) and had a play with some of the new products and nattered away, we then all received some lovely goodie bags and bid farewell to everyone!

It was such a great experience and i'm so glad i had the chance to see the store and see the gorgeous new collection. A big thank you at everyone at illamasqua for the event!

p.s - I received some exciting bits and bobs in the goodie bag and i will be doing another blog all about the products i received from the new collection. Keep posted!

Thank you all for reading and im so sorry if i typed so much but I just had to share everything!
