Illamasqua Haul & Swatches

Hey guys, for our makeup course at the moment we needed to use some Illamasqua products for our project. I have been wanting to purchace some Illamasqua FOREVER! and i finally got the chance!
I felt like a kid in a candy store lol but i choose some bronze products, a blush and a pure Pigment.

I purchased :
Blush - Tweak
Bronzing Duo - Glint and Writhe
Liquid Metal - Solstice
Pure Pigment - Fervent

This is what they look like opened, mind you its with flash

A swatch for the ever-so-popular Solstice Liquid Metal, extremely pigmented..my favourite!
You can use this anywhere, i think i would look lovely in summer on the cheekbones.

Pure Pigment, a deep red with shimmers of green and what looks like gold, but it might just be the two together.
swiped on my hand and then blended in a little bit

Bronzing duo, there is a lighter highlighing shade and a more bronze shade, both gorgeous!

Glint and Writhe, not the best swatches but they do look beautiful on the face when applied properly

Now this is the Powder Blush 'Tweak'
I was going to get a bubblegum pink shade but i heard so much about how you cant wear them if you are not fair skinned..so i listened to this info and purchaced Tweak which is a deep pink/red blush, i like it but i think i would like a bubblegum pink even better! Next time i wont follow any 'rules' lol

But this shade is meant to be great for olive to tanned skin, and probably dark skin aswell.

These photos show it swatched and then blended.

Do you have any of these products?
What do you think of them?

St Moriz Review

Hi dolls,
I thought its about damn time i done a review lol. I decided to do one on the St Moriz Bronzing Mousse.
So this is explained to be a great dupe for the St Tropez Instant Bronzing Mousse and in short..it is, but i'll share with you my experience.

So the packaging is fine, no faults or anything! (ive had the St tropez Mousse before) and its pretty similar to the St Tropez product.
I know everyone always complains about the scent of fake tan products but to be honest i havent used alot of fake tanners just as i dont feel i need to but i tried this one to see if i could get a bit of colour on my face. Anywho i didnt really get there there was a bad scent from this product, i found the scent ok!

It comes out dark, which is a good thing because you can see where you are applying the Mousse. I found this handy but the only thing is you have to work really quickly so that it looks even..and then quickly wash your hands so you dont look like youve been man-handling chocolate.

This wasnt really a big issue but i suppose its a technique that gets better with practice.

Initally after i put the mousse on, it made my skin about 2 shades darker then my natural skin colour..and unfortunatly it made my skin a bit blotchy. HOWEVER..im not sure why it did this to me but ive never heard anyone else complaining of this and the St Tropex did exactly the same thing hence why i stopped using it. It makes my skin dark and patchy so i have to definatly use foundation over...but this may not be the case for you!

I can imagine without my weird skin lol it would do a lovely job. Be carefull not to apply too much though as it does get darker over time. (it develops)

It lasts all day which is good actually because then its not too harmful for the skin and also if you dont like the effect its only one day you'll have it on for.

If you watch my youtube videos then..i had St Moriz on in my 'products i regret buying' video..you may notice i look darker!

I hope this review was helpful somehow!

Illamasqua Nail Varnish Competiton Entry!

This post will be my Entry for the Illamasqua Nail Varnish competition which looks, amazing! So here is my dream colour which I have never found anywhere, just in my thoughts!

My Explination:

My inspiration comes from the beautiful and extravagant masks and outfits of Burlesque, Rio de janeiro and Marti Gras. The colours that always catch my eye most are Golds and Purples. If created from these colours, I would imagine it to be a beautiful duo chrome colour and slightly shimmery.

Here is my Image:

Thank you so much Illamasqua for having such an amazing competiton,
